In accordance with an Order from the Federal Court in matter T-1894-22, certain IP addresses associated with target servers that provide unauthorized access to FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 matches have been blocked.
This Order was issued by the Court in response to an application by Bell Media Inc., CTV Specialty Television Enterprises Inc., The Sports Network Inc., and Le Reseau Des Sports (RDS) Inc. (the “Plaintiffs”).
If you are the operator of a target server blocked pursuant to the Order, or an Internet service customer affected by the Order, or a third party otherwise affected by the Order, you may apply to the Federal Court to seek a variation of the Order insofar as it affects your ability to access or distribute non-infringing content by serving a filing a motion record prior to the end of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
If you are a customer affected by the Order, you may contact the plaintiffs or its agent to register any complaints, including the identification of IP addresses that have been wrongly blocked, via the following email addresses:
Plaintiffs: contentprotection@bell.ca
Agent: fifa_ca_ipallocation@friendmts.com
