Certification Is Based on Direct Feedback from Employees, Who Praise Atmosphere of Recognition, Respect and Sense of Community
TORONTO – August 12, 2020: We are very pleased to announce that Distributel Communications Limited has been certified as a Great Place to Work—the only Canadian telecom company to achieve this distinction this year. The certification is a direct result of employee feedback, provided in response to an extensive, anonymous survey that is independently analyzed by the Great Place to Work Institute Canada.

Ninety-four percent of the company’s employees took the time to complete the survey, which in itself is a tremendous result. Employees commented that Distributel’s focus on career development, diversity and inclusion, innovation, and its commitment to customers, is what makes them feel most at home when at work. Reflecting an especially strong source of pride for the company, one respondent wrote, “I have been quite proud of how our company has handled all the challenges we’ve faced as a result of COVID-19.” Distributel’s response to the pandemic was swift and decisive, taking great care to ensure employees’ safety and wellbeing – all while transitioning its employees to work from home in just four days.
This certification is the latest in a series of major workplace recognitions for Distributel.
