Question # 1:
Why isn't my pager receiving its messages?

Answer # 1:

Points to check:

  • Is the pager turned ON?
  • Did your contact have the right pager number?
  • Does the “battery low” symbol appear on the screen? (please see page 28 of the User’s Guide). It is recommended to change the battery monthly and to use an alkaline AAA battery.
  • Are you in the coverage area?
  • Are you in a underground area or in a building that can block the pager signal?
  • Take out and then reinsert the battery. If the pager does not make a sound or vibrate, the battery should be changed or your pager may be defective.

If your pager still is not working after checking the above points, then it is probably not activated. Please contact a technician at our Technical Service for help.
